The Koning Willem II Stadion, located in Tilburg, is the home of football club Willem II. It was not until 2009 that the addition of 'King' was incorporated in the name of the stadium, in honor to King William II of the Netherlands.

The stadium in its current form was officially opened in 1995. Previously Willem II played their home games at the Municipal Sportpark. In 1992 the demolition started on the old stadium with the new Willem II Stadium completed 3 years later.

The Koning Willem II Stadion has played host to 2 international friendlies. In 1994, the Netherlands played the Republic of Ireland and against China in the following year.
