Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is a Dutch footballer who plays as a striker.

In 2000, Huntelaar joined PSV youth academy and into the first team in 2002. But with limited playing time, he was loaned to De Graafschap and AGOVV.

In 2004/05 season, Huntelaar moved to Heerenveen, helping Heerenveen qualify for the UEFA Cup.

In the 2005/06 winter transfer window, Huntelaar signed for Ajax and making his UEFA Champions League debut. Huntelaar goals against his former club, PSV in the KNVB Cup Final won Ajax the title. To acknowledge his outstanding 2005/06 season, he was named Dutch Football Talent of the Year and Ajax Player of the Year. In 2006/07, his 1st full-season at the club, Huntelaar helped Ajax retain the KNVB Cup.

In 2006 Huntelaar made his debut in the Dutch national team. He has represented Netherlands in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups and the 2008 and 2012 European Championship.
