NAC Breda or simply known as NAC, is a Dutch professional football club, based in Breda, Netherlands. NAC was founded in 1912, when the two clubs ADVENDO and NOAD merged. NOAD is a Dutch abbreviation for Nooit Ophouden, Altijd Doorgaan and ADVENDO is a Dutch abbreviation for Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nuttig Door Ontspanning.
In 1996, NAC moved to their new stadium, called the Rat Verlegh Stadium, named after their most important player, Antoon 'Rat' Verlegh.
