Jeremain Lens is a Dutch footballer who plays as a winger or striker.
Lens made his professional football debut in the 2005/06 season with AZ. During 2007/08, he had a season-long loan with NEC. Lens helped NEC reach 8th in the Eredivisie and qualify for the UEFA Cup. Lens' return to playing for AZ was delayed by 6 months as he recovered from a broken foot. But the 2008/09 season ended with happier news with AZ winning the Eredivisie.
In the summer of 2010, Lens transferred to PSV and given the number 9 shirt. In his 1st season with PSV, he helped them reach the quarter finals in the UEFA Europa League. The following season, he swapped to the number 11 shirt to reflect his new role as a winger.
Lens made his Dutch national team debut in 2010. He became a regular member of the Dutch team during the 2014 World Cup qualification campaign; with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil his 1st major tournament.
